Provisional draft — production cookie banners and preference centres will align with this notice once consent tooling is enabled.

2. What we use

We may use:

• Essential cookies and storage — authentication session placeholders, security, load balancing, and remembering cookie preferences
• Functional storage — country preference (USA/Canada), UI state, and demo-mode flags needed for the experience you request
• Analytics cookies — product analytics when enabled in production (currently mocked locally)
• Marketing cookies — only if we later run consented campaigns; not required for core contest play

3. Examples stored locally

The golfer app may store a country browsing preference (for example hin-golfer-country) in localStorage. This does not change the payment currency of a course, which always follows the course country.

4. Your choices

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in, checkout, or preference saving.

When a production consent manager is enabled, you will be able to accept or reject non-essential categories. Essential technologies will remain active.

We may update this notice when our technologies change. The “Last updated” date will reflect material revisions.
